Leading local historian and author ADRIAN GRAY will lead a morning walk at Wellow, including the parish church, the famous maypole, the historic school room, Jordan’s Castle and the mysterious medieval Gorge Dyke. Hear about these fascinating places and also some interesting characters from Wellow’s history.

• 21st May and 28th May 10am-1pm

• Meet at Wellow church: 10am

• Walking distance approx. 2-3 miles, can be muddy

• Cost £7.50 per head, includes contribution to Wellow church
